I offer 50 minute sessions weekly, one to one counselling and also Home visits in certain circumstances.

Due to the nature of issues I can also offer extra sessions.

I offer Monday to Friday day / late afternoon and Saturday Morning appointments also.

The types of clients I can work with are Adults and Adolescents .

Before we start in therapy I offer an initial telephone consultation where I can tell you more about the counselling process and to find out more about you and your expectations of therapy. Feel free to ask as many questions as you feel you need.

You are under no obligation to continue in therapy after the first consultation, if you feel it may not be for you or the right time.

At times life can get hard, we can find ourselves feeling anxious and not knowing what direction we want our lives to go.

In life we can experience Trauma and pain and find it hard to deal with our issues. Emotions can be hard to deal with and understand, by engaging in counselling you are taking the first step in making a choice to work towards a change in your life.

Counselling gives you the opportunity to look at your Emotional patterns, how you feel about yourself and the presenting issues, the way we relate to others .

It is important to me that the client counsellor relationship is at the forefront of the journey we take together in therapy. Each person can determine the direction they want their therapy to go.

Because of my Integrative training every client is treated as an individual and the therapy will be different for each. I do not believe in being the master of the counselling therapy, you are your own master and I believe equipped to find a way forward to a more authentic life.

I offer a confidential service which will be discussed at our consultation.

I am able to deal with a wide range of issues and particularly feel passionate about every individual being able to find their voice, to not be ashamed of their feelings and to feel listened to.

Through my own personal experiences, I have discovered how hard it can be to access that voice and feel really listened to and understood.

I am a friendly individual who understands how hard the first step is, I do not hide behind my counselling mask and offer a transparent service.

I have special interest in breaking the cultural barrier to counselling which I have discovered and experienced. My mixed heritage can only be an advantage in this area.

I have volunteered  my counselling and free time to women who have experienced/experiencing Domestic abuse and currently volunteer in my free time Supporting Families and Children. Along with working privately, I also work for A Domestic Abuse charity, So have experience of a diverse client group. My background is in working with children and family support work, and this has added to my empathetic nature.

I have experience in dealing with the following issues

Disordered Eating

Mental Health Issues

Body image and Self esteem

Domestic Abuse

Self harming

Family issues

I am a member of the British Association of counselling and psychotherapy so I adhere to their ethical framework.
